88B2 (Single Acting Reverse Balanced Design)

A reverse balanced single acting pusher type mechanical seal series 88B2 is designed for corrosive and general chemical applications. For wide range of applications, various seal face and elastomer material are offered. This seal can serve extremely well in a highly corrosive media applications as the metal parts do not come into the contact of the fluid.

This seal comes in a component and cartridge options. This seal can also be installed in a double back-to-back configuration as an internal seal. Reverse balance capability of this seal doesn’t allow fluid to get mixed with a barrier fluid even in case of significant pressure drop observed in a barrier fluid.
